In April 2017, the Globo Repórter team (brazilian tv documentary program), from TV Globo (Brazil’s largest television broadcaster), was in the Curucutu nucleus at Serra do Mar State Park to meet, follow and film some of the research workers doing fauna developed in this area. Conservation Unit, which is located south of the municipality of São Paulo and is one of the largest in the Atlantic Forest of Brazil.
For a few days the team traveled through trails, climbed hills, faced rain, fog and lots of mud, to document the work of biologists. One of the highlights was the research done by researcher Fabio Schunck with the birds of Serra do Mar over 11 years, including the monitoring of migratory species.
The images show a little of this adventure that resulted in a very interesting program on the biodiversity of Serra do Mar and Atlantic Forest.
